Black Box HAPPY EA RSI OverBought and OverSold Settings

What are Blackbox settings?

.

Blackbox settings are packaged settings that you can merely select from the EA settings menu and all the settings below will automatically traded. You merely need to make sure your account sizing is in proportion to account sizing used in the Black Box Results

The settings are not necessarily the very best setting obtained in testing but they have been selected on their chance of repeating in the future.

Please note that the previous settings for the GBPJPY, GBPUSD and the EURJPY have been replaced by the settings below

How to use the Blackbox Settings?

.

  1. Select the % or amount of your account you want to use (guidance is given below)
  2. Enter your Broker Time frame offset - Use this link for more info       Broker offset
  3. Select the black box settings you want to use from the drop down menu supplied. Details of these settings are provided below and on other Blackbox settings page - see the settings menu options above

 GBPJPY  BLACKBOX: RSI OB/OS Setting

Account sizing

These settings were obtained using a $ 800 account and using $300 as the allocated amountFor safety it might be more appropriate to assume that a $1 000 account was used. So a micro account of $500 allocating $150 (30%) would be in an acceptable proportion.

The settings for the results are available below. Note the 99.9% testing accuracy

Account sizing

The 2014 test results were obtained using a $ 600 account and using $300 as the allocated amount. For safety it might be more appropriate to assume that a $1 000 account was used. So a micro account of $500 allocating $150 (30%) would be in an acceptable proportion.

Test result disclaimer

The above test results were generated using third party software and data. We used the MT4 Strategy Tester and DukasCopy data imported through TickStory. We use EveryTick basis of testing every final test and cross check results using up to 3 independent computers. We do NOT use the Genetic Algorithm and test every combination. In most cases we also use independent parties to verify the reasonableness of you test results. Although we take as much care as we can there are inherent limitations to the Strategy Tester with huge differences being experienced from test to tester testing the same item.

These test results are provided as a guide to help you get the best out of your Happy Envelope EA. They are not provided for marketing purposes or provided to try to impress or deceive anybody – there is nothing to be gained by that. So please use them for what they are. If you can not duplicate our results in your own testing do not be concerned – that is normal as there are too many variables that have to be identical for that to happen.  This further points towards the limitations of testing results. So please do not try to discredit us if you don’t – we are truly taking as much care as we can to produce these results. We will also not spend any effort at trying to reconcile results you get in your testing with ours. If you do not like our results and feel more confident with your please use your results.

Also be aware that there are many limitations to using test data. Fixed spreads are used when testing whereas spreads can vary considerably in reality. Slippage could occur in reality.

Therefore Expert4x and its employees and owners can not be held responsible for any losses suffered as results as the guidance provided by these test results and the use of the Happy Envelope EA.

Please use these test results with the knowledge of these shortcomings.

I suggested you to make new version with entry buy by RSI Shift 2 less than 20 and shift 1 more than 20 so it will more accurate, instead of shift 0 equal 20. And for Sell logic use shift 2 more 80 and shift 1 less 80, instead of shift 0 equal 80. Because I see many times make entry about twice and twice also hit stop losses. only after 3rd entry used above method seems better.

And OPTIONAL to add trailing stop after last top up,,, so at least 50% is good enough for each trade…
And reminder again, to make account allocation by % of balance so Lot size will be automatically, like my suggested earlier comment in home page…
    Just suggestion.

I’m wondering about the Gold trading! I have paid for the settings but it is not possible to trade. It would be just fair to reimburse the money, or come up with a definitive date when the problems are solved.

I agree totally with Grandongs comment and would even introduce a trailing stop after the second top up. Why close with break even if a profit is possible. It should be up to the user to decide how much they want to make or lose.

these testing results are 1 year period or just few months tester?
If these all are 1 year period, then please to optimized for entry etc, because the main topic of the EA is DIAD.
I believe Mr.Alex can find more accurate entry & not only based on RSI ob/os.

If 600 become 2000, then it should DIAY, instead of DIAD.

But if these testers are just 1 month period, or two, then it is still acceptable.
    DIAM or DIAW is oke

Trailing stop option on top up 3 is needed. Entry examination is needed. It does not seem to be working. Either rsi or sma. Smaller final target option needed. 110 pips is smallest available. Give smaller user settable options if he wants to do even 40 pip targets with 3 top ups. 5% down to 2% option needed as mentioned in video. EA resting for next valid trigger needed so that it does not open immediate trades after losing trades as it does now. I feel better entry method might be needed.
